Congratulations to Ethan Cole on being a recipient of the BOE's Cougar Pride Award! Cole was nominated by his mother, Camille Cole who noted, "I nominate Ethan because of his perseverance. Ethan has amazed me throughout his High school years. He's done things I could never or was never able to do. From taking foreign languages at school as well as online. To studying after school at the library. Tutoring peers after school hours. Completing courses some of us don't even understand. Going to states with the math club. Taking the SAT until he received the score he accepted and the Numbers of essays he wrote this year for college acceptance. He keeps working to make himself and others better. Like I said at first he amazes me. I'm so proud of the man he's becoming and I know his dad would be proud also. I cannot wait to see what he does next." #WeAreHFL

Garvey was nominated by Camille Cole and Sam Kresge who noted the following, "since Caitlin has become part of the HF-L staff here at Lima Primary she has become a major part of our lives as well as the other paras in her room. She is very devoted to her students as well as us. She puts her heart into everything thing she does. This year has been a challenge. Caitlin has applied so much time into completely rearranging our entire room to help the students learning atmosphere. Including getting us classroom pets , two gerbils, to help the kiddos learn compassion and responsibilities. Caitlin makes time for us to understand each child and to learn how to help them each individually. She has so many great learning centers and skills through activities that she teaches the kiddos. We just want to thank her for her endless dedication, her new ways of thinking outside the box, and genuine love of teaching." #WeAreHFL
