Miss Kristie noted the following: "Emilia has gone above and beyond to be very welcoming, thoughtful, kind, and caring. When she realized we had two new students on the bus and one was sitting alone, she so thoughtfully asked if she could sit with her. I observed the two having a great conversation the whole bus ride home. Emilia really made this student feel welcomed. She has been an exemplary student on the bus, and I look forward to seeing her every day!"

🌟 HF-L senior Paige took the stage at the Monroe County Legislative Breakfast to passionately advocate for universal free meals in public schools! 🥪 Her inspiring presentation highlighted the importance of addressing food insecurity to promote equity for all students. 💛🖤
The event also featured HF-L Board of Education members and Assistant Superintendent Colin Pierce, who discussed sustainability efforts like zero-emission school buses and equitable funding for schools. 🚍📚
