The Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Orman as the next Director of Physical Education and Health and Athletic Director.

Orman brings over two decades of experience in education and athletics administration, most recently serving as the Student Services Coordinator, Director of Physical Education and Health, and Athletic Director at York Central School District in Retsof, New York. Since 2012, he has led York’s athletic programs with distinction, and in 2023, he assumed additional responsibilities overseeing the district’s physical education and health departments.

Orman holds an Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership from SUNY Stony Brook, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from SUNY Brockport. His academic and professional background reflects a deep commitment to student development, wellness, and athletic excellence.

In addition to his district leadership roles, Orman has served on the Section V Executive Committee since 2018 and has been the Livingston County Athletic Association (LCAA) Boys Basketball Chairperson since 2017. His regional leadership has contributed to the advancement of interscholastic athletics across Western New York.

“We are excited about the experience and vision Mr. Orman brings to our district,” said Gene Mancuso, Superintendent of Schools. “Ed has dedicated his entire career to students and student athletes. His dedication to student success, both in the classroom and on the field, aligns perfectly with our mission at Honeoye Falls-Lima. ”

Orman is expected to begin his new role later this summer.
