The Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District has successfully reached a new collective bargaining agreement with its Food Service Department, securing a contract that recognizes and supports the team’s essential contributions to the school community.

This agreement marks the final in a series of collaborative negotiations across the district’s seven bargaining units. With all units now under current agreements, the district continues to demonstrate its commitment to fostering a positive, supportive environment for all staff.

“Our food service professionals play a critical role in the daily lives of our students,” said Superintendent Gene Mancuso. “They do more than provide meals — they create welcoming spaces where students feel cared for and supported. This agreement reflects our respect for their work and our shared focus on the whole student experience. I’m incredibly grateful to the union leadership, our food service team, and the district’s representatives for coming together in partnership to reach this outcome.”

By investing in its staff, HF-L ensures that students continue to benefit from the high-quality services that make the district a “District of Choice” for families, employees, and the broader community.
